This is not my field of expertise - I am a Theatre and English major - but I loved this book!

The day I got it, I started reading it before bed thinking I would read the first chapter and do one chapter a night.

Well, I read 2/3 of the book that night! I couldn't put it down.

I have finished reading it and will most likely read it a second time. I have also taken what I learned and applied it to my blog.

Don't hesitate to buy and read this book.

I highly recommend it.

Phil -

I thought you would find this article interesting subject material for your blog. I have read it several times, and every time I read it I'm still stunned.

It does, however, (to use one of your words) put things into perspective in the elections and our society.

Anyway, I thought you would like to read it so here is the link.

I just read a great review on your book, I can,t wait to get my copy. I am a founding member of two different non- profit organizations, American Coast Theater Company and,LALOVES. I am going to recommend that every member of these organizations buys a copy of your book!

Hi Phil -

I just got an email from an ORU alumni. She told me that she was going to get the word out about your book and since I enjoyed it so much she was going to order a copy for herself. I also made reference to it in my blog article today.

Phil, I hope to be able to read your book soon (I have a stack to get through first) and I'm currently reading Unchristian. It appears to me based on what you have said about your book that the two relate to each other in a number of ways. If you haven't read Unchristian yet, check it out.

Great idea. It would mostly deal with the power of perception and how the culture views believers - and if and how we should respond. Let me think about it and look for it on upcoming posts.

Actually, yes. After reading this excerpt in an article, they obviously could use your expertise. Maybe you should send them a copy!

"In all, most of the readers implicitly concur with what my fellow Co-Trustee, Fred Hess, labels as the Republican’s "branding" crisis."

The excerpt came from the article, Is the GOP relevant? You can read the whole article at http://www.townhall.com/columnists/PeterJWirs/2008/03/24/is_the_gop_relevant_the_readers_respond?page=2

Phil -

I thought you would like to read this article in Townhall I just received in my email box. It deals with a "study of, “Automatic Effects of Brand Exposure on Motivated Behavior: How Apple Makes you ‘Think Different,’” (Grainne M. Fitzsimons, Tanya L. Chartrand, and Gavan J. Fitzsimons); published in the April issue of “The Journal of Consumer Research,” the authors proved that seeing brand logos affected people’s behavior."

Very interesting. Anyway, I thought it would be a good article for your research folder!

Here is the link.
