Paula and Randy White’s Church for Sale

In a surprise move, the Tampa Tribune website reports that Without Walls International Church, which faces a U.S. senator’s scrutiny for possible abuse of its tax-exempt status, has put its Tampa sanctuary up for sale.  What was just a few years ago, one of the fastest growing churches in America is apparently scaling down in the wake of Randy and Paula’s recent divorce, and the more recent Senate investigation.  CNL Specialty Real Estate Services and Cushman & Wakefield of Florida were hired to sell the 13.3-acre campus, near International Plaza and Raymond James Stadium, in the burgeoning West Shore business district. The asking price is
$30 million, said Matthew Messier, a principal with CNL who specializes in selling church property. Along with the 4,500-seat sanctuary, the campus includes a 94,000-square-foot office building, a television studio and a small health club.

    Interesting, maybe he's going to build another church in Tampa.  He did say he was not leaving and that he was going to be a good Pastor….

    The most (and perhaps only) shocking thing in the article is that Randy didn't bother to even inform the board he was putting the church up for sale.  Never mind call it to a vote.

    I can't figure out what drives these guys. Randy White, Ted haggard. They immediately want to return to some other form of ministry. man, if they've got anything in savings, they should just go see the world. Get the heck out of dodge, blow this pop-stand; Go spend time with their friends, and their families… and heal. Find a new thing that's not in a pulpit. But, unfortunately I think there's a much deeper issue that they're not willing to look at, right?! Just plain old ordinary ego! Oh, well.

    A quote straight from the homepage of the Without Walls website: 

    "Under the leadership of Bishop Randy White, Without Walls is a beacon of light, dedicated to tearing down the walls of racism and poverty, while equipping men, women, and children with practical teachings on Godly principles."

    I guess they can go ahead and change it to say:

    "Under the leadership of Bishop Randy White, Without Walls is a beacon whose light got busted out, dedicated to tearing down the reputation of the church, while equipping men, women, and children with practical examples how to look like a fool and how to give the lost another reason not to come to church."

    I can't judge their hearts, but their actions I can judge and the ruling is "Do Christianity a favor….join a different religion. How about Catholic, they seem to be very forgiving of their leaders sins"

    Its amazing to see what continues to be tolerated in the body of Christ. Why is speaking truth considered judgemnent to so many. Overlooking the sins of leadership is to endorse and participate what they are doing. I think it is a slap in the face and the highest form of hypocrisy when church leaders will share each others platform for an opurtunity to promote their book, cd or simply to recieve an offering. Its about time that we start promoting the cause of Jesus Christ. He is the only "Superstar",

    yet he humbled himself as a servant. Most charismatic preachers would not bend over to pick up a dollar bill unless it had two 00's behind the one, and they would probably

    have one of their amourbearers pick it up for them. I hope we wake up and pull our heads out of our blessed assurances. Use the brain God gave you these people are crooks and will give an account fot their actions. I'm ready for change. Paula get your life in order before you tell anyone how to live a life by design or should I say Life by Disaster. Randy give back the money to all those who belived in taking care of those who were less fortunate. Looks like your the one who is THE FORTUNE ATE ONE. The Bible says hard work leads to prosperity, not hard selling manipulation of gulible people who want to do the right thing with the money God has given them. Quit supporting christian ROCK STARS and start supporting the cause of the Rock Jesus.

    I just want to say this, Paula and Randy White GOD forgive you. I am no one to judge the lord himself will judge you. But as a child of GOD myself are we not accountable for what we say and do, HELLO yes we are. My pastor is a wonderful pastor but by no means above God, he preachers so much on what God did for us and about Salvation. He also tells us that our tithe is important and our giving too, but not to tithe if its going to put us in the hole and not pay our bills. He tells us that if we tithe and then loose our home or get our water or electric shut off then we are not tithing our debt is tithing for us. He says that God does not want us out in the street, but he wants us to be good stewards of our money. Is my pastor wrong or does he have it right? I will be honest I dont tithe at my church but I do give cheerfully and I also support other ministries. Like a friend of mine has the skateboard park  ministry he goes out and ministers to kids at the skate park he and his wife. My husband and I support that ministry by giving them money when they needed, like when they have cookouts at the skate parks. I use to watch paula white on TV and then about 2 years ago the lord told me not to watch TV preachers anymore. ( GOD HAD IT RIGHT WHEN HE SAID STOP WATCHING THEM ) . I just want to add that I know we all fall short of the glory of GOD but getting up and admitting you were wrong and taking some time off would have been good for randy and paula white. They need to make things right with GOD. God is merciful "IF" we ask for forgiveness and restore our relationship with him. There is nothing wrong with admitting oops I messed up, well get up and make GOD proud. How can we allow GOD to work in our lives if all we ever do is take take take how about a little giving back to him who SAVED US ALL. May the LORD bless all who read this small but humble note. REMEMBER HE IS THE LORD OF SALVATION NOT MONEY HE IS NOT A SUGAR DADDY BUT A FORGIVING DADDY HE IS ALPHA AND OMEGA AND HIS WORD IS ALWAYS THE LAST WORD NO MATTER WHAT. GOD BLESS ALL.

    The Lord told us that His judgement would begin in His household. None of us are without fault. For most of us, it's just not this one. We should put on humility and pray the Lord will search our hearts before we have to endure His judgement on our lives, so that we may walk worthy of OUR calling. I don't know about anyone else, but I have asked the Lord to search ME. Pray for their restoration and forgiveness. Take heed lest you think too much of yourselves,….you can fall too. We are to love and restore each other..yes, and forgive. Not shoot our wounded…
